The Kitimat Business Bootcamp is a workshop series organized by the District of Kitimat and Kitimat Chamber of Commerce. The series is delivered on topics of interest in an hour long session. At the end of the workshop series, businesses can pitch their business growth ideas in the Kitimat Business Builders Competition and win $10,000.

In 2023, over 20 leaders of Kitimat’s small businesses attended to learn about topics most affecting local businesses as indicated in the Annual Business Walk. These topics included:

• Temporary foreign workers
• Succession planning
• Grants and external funding
• Housing supports
• Negotiation and Finding a Space
• Digital Support
