Landfill minimum fees change
In 2025, the minimum fee to access the landfill becomes $10 per visit.
Eligible property owners will be receiving a pack of four free residential landfill passes for 2025.

The District of Kitimat loves celebrating July 1. From the lead-up, including concerts and other community-organized events, right to July 1 itself, we fill the early Summer with activities and events.

This is the deadline date to pay your property tax bill. Penalties apply to payments after this date. Also, don't forget to apply for your Home Owners Grant if eligible!
