TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter, the District of Kitimat (“the District”) proposes to dispose of land that is not being made available to the public for acquisition:

PROPOSAL

Disposition of Land to Rio Tinto Alcan – Statutory Right-of-Way

Portion of the District’s Road Right Away - 6^th Street, Kitimat, BC

PURPOSE:

The District is disposing, through an encroachment agreement, a portion of the District’s Road Right-of-Way on 6th Street, Kitimat, BC to Rio Tinto Alcan for the purpose of installing and operating an air quality monitoring station.

The agreement is for a period of twenty (20) years.

The District will receive $12,000 in total compensation for the disposition of this portion of the District’s Road Right-of-Way on 6th Street, Kitimat, BC.

Following notice under section 26 of the Community Charter, the Corporate Officer is authorized to execute the agreement.
