The municipal budget process has meant we've received questions about the spray park.

We have shared an update over on the Budget 2026 project page (here!) explaining the budget's current status along with other common budget questions.

While we encourage you to read the full update there, on the spray park specifically Council is currently deliberating on this and all projects proposed for the 2026 budget.

You may have heard that District staff are seeking direction on this project before the end of January. This is because the budget for this project would need to be approved this month in order to receive the spray park equipment for installation this year.

Council will continue to deliberate on this project along with all the proposed projects for the upcoming year to determine the next steps.
